On Tuesday, our fellows stepped into the world of international diplomacy with visits to the Embassy of Albania in Denmark and the Embassy of Ireland—two insightful exchanges that deepened our understanding of European cooperation, foreign policy, and the evolving role of the EU.
At the Albanian Embassy, discussions centered on EU enlargement, regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, and the challenges and opportunities that shape Albania’s path toward European integration. Strengthening regional ties remains a key element in fostering stability and progress, and our conversations reinforced the shared commitment to these goals.
Meanwhile, at the Embassy of Ireland, we explored Ireland-EU relations, values-based diplomacy, and the impact of Brexit. With Ireland’s upcoming EU presidency on the horizon, the conversation also highlighted the importance of transatlantic partnerships and multilateral cooperation in navigating global challenges.
Guided by Isac Larsson and Eskil Jonsson, who did a fantastic job leading the visits, our fellows gained firsthand insights into diplomacy. And this is just the beginning, more embassy visits await in April! Stay tuned as we continue this journey into the heart of European and international affairs.
